How to Rename a Project or Folder
To rename a project or folder click the circle with the ellipse inside located to the right of the title. A drop-down menu will appear. Select “rename” and began to type your new desired title. To complete press enter on your keyboard.
How to Delete a Project or Folder
You can delete a project or folder by clicking on the circled ellipses next to the title. You will be presented with a drop down menu. Click “Leave this Project” and project will be deleted from your dashboard. If the project is on other people’s dashboards, they will still be able to access it. It is just removed from yours. Repeat this process for a folder.
How to Create a Project or Folder
If you are just starting in effi, you will see an untitled Project and an untitled Folder. To create more projects click the “+ Create a new project” in the light gray box on the effi web dashboard. You will be presented with two options: whether to make an Effi only Project or a JIRA Sync Project. Choose the one you wish to create. An empty Project will appear. Give the project a new title. The projects and folders are arranged alphabetically and can not be rearranged. Projects and folders that start with special characters and numbers will be placed at the top. The Jira Sync Projects will be placed above Effi only projects. If the project Zebra disappears from view when you hit enter make sure to check the bottom of the page before panicking.
Folders are much the same way. To create a new folder within a project locate the black “+” sign at the far left of the folder. When clicked a new folder should appear. Title the folder and press enter.
How to Share a Project
Sharing is a vital part of our software and we would like to make that as simple for you as possible. First scroll to the project you wish to share. Next to the project title there is an outline of a head with a circled plus line on the right shoulder. Clicking the button will lead to an invite screen. In the search bar at the top enter an email address (one that is connected to an Effi account) and click invite. The email should appear below the search bar when the invitation is accepted.
In order for a team member to see your shared project. The other party must accept the invite by clicking the green check mark on their project invitation. The invitation should appear at the top of their dashboard in a white box containing the Project title, date, and who is sharing it.
How to Sync with Jira (one-way)
Jira sync can only be down with sync to Jira processed projects. You are given one to start with and have the option to create more. These projects are shown on the app as having a blue sync with Jira title and on the PC as having a sync icon next to the Project title. You can sync with JIRA by pressing the sync icon.
You will then be redirected to a sync screen where you will be asked to enter in your JIRA information. From there choose your desired settings and click sync. Your Effi reports will then appear in Jira.
